I had the extreme pleasure to spend some time with some amazing bloggers and friends on Saturday at Thrive Juice Bar in Waterloo organized by Angela.

Thrive Juice Bar is such a hip spot and the food and service is beyond. We started off with some sesame crackers and olives:
And a sample of the Sangria smoothie which contained fresh orange, lemon and lime juice, pineapple, agave, berry gelato, organic pomegranate and blueberry juice:
I ordered the Vegan Pad Thai – daikon radish, snap peas, bok choy, Asian cabbage and raw cashew pad thai sauce, topped with spicy peanuts and cashews, Thai basil and mint, fresh cilantro, finished with almond chili oil and mint lime vinaigrette. I went for the raw version and replaced the rice noodles with extra veggies. It was SO GOOD.
The fine people at Sweets From the Earth also donated an amazing Chocolate Cheesecake which the fine people at Thrive made into art by adding coconut gelato and raspberry coulis:
I had such an amazing time eating and being with such an inspiring and motivating group of women. Thank you girls! And thank you Thrive for accommodating us and treating us so well!
